Goulburn Family Support Service Inc. (GFSS) is a non profit community managed agency, funded by the Department of Community Services to provide services to disadvantaged families in crisis.
GFSS has been part of the local community for 30 years providing much needed emotional support to individuals and families caring for children. Our agency employs family workers to assist families by providing support and education to 'help families help themselves'.
GFSS has developed an explicit practice framework based upon the philosophy of Restorative Justice. Our practice incorporates knowledge of the psychology of affects; the identified theory underpinning the success of restorative justice; in practical application to enable an understanding and better management of behaviours that harm relationships.
